Litbuy QC checklist: photos, sizing, variants, and red flags

Last reviewed June 16, 2026 · Built for quick product-page checks before adding an item to a shortlist.

Good browsing is partly about knowing when not to save an item. Before a find goes into your shortlist, give it a quick check. This works whether you came from a spreadsheet, a category page, a search result, or a saved link from someone else.

The goal is not to inspect every listing forever. The goal is to reject weak pages quickly, keep the candidates with useful information, and make your final comparison easier.

Photo check

Photos are usually the first filter. A listing with enough clear images is easier to compare and easier to reject if something looks wrong. A listing with one vague image forces you to guess, which is not useful when similar options are available.

Fit and variant check

Many bad saves happen because the product title looks right but the live options tell a different story. Read the variant names slowly before you keep the item.

Page quality check

A spreadsheet row may stay online longer than the listing behind it. If variants are missing, photos feel mismatched, or the page looks thin, remove it from the shortlist and move on.

QC searches to use when comparing finds

When you already have a candidate, searches such as litbuy QC photos, litbuy QC finds, litbuy spreadsheet with QC, litbuy spreadsheet with QC photos, litbuy product page check, and litbuy variants and sizes can help you focus on the details that decide whether the item is worth saving.

Shortlist rules

Keep your shortlist small enough to compare. A good list is not the one with the most links. It is the one where every saved item still has a clear reason to be there.

  1. Save no more than a few options per category. Too many weak candidates slow down the final decision.
  2. Write a short reason for each saved item. Examples: better photos, clearer sizing, lower price, cleaner variants.
  3. Remove duplicates quickly. If two listings look the same, keep the one with better page detail.
  4. Do a second pass later. Items that only looked interesting for a moment usually fall out during review.
